ABOUT ABOUT

Chicago. 1920. Prohibition.

Beulah Annan and Belva Gaertner have been arrested for murder and yet somehow avoid a hanging, citing "Jazz and Liquor" the true culprit of their poor choices.

Decades later, Bob Fosse used their story as the basis for a new musical with an irreverent look into the criminal justice system through the format of a Vaudeville evening. Since it's revival on Broadway in 1997, Chicago has become one of the most popular musicals of all time and the 2nd Longest Running Musical on Broadway.

Our performance is the High School Edition of the Original Broadway Musical. According to Samuel French Inc, It's appropriate for Adults, Seniors, Pre-Teens (11-13) and Teens (14-18).

The musical is roughly 90 min long with a 10 min intermission.
